Booking and paying

  • Booking deposit20% of the trip locks your dates once Chris confirms. The rest is due at pickup
  • Damage deposit$250, charged before pickup and refunded after the van comes back clean and on time. Never a card hold
  • CancellationFull refund up to 7 days before pickup. Inside 7 days, the booking deposit is kept
  • Minimum rental24 hours

Drivers

  • Age21 or older with a valid license
  • InsuranceFull coverage, uploaded with your license before pickup
  • Extra driversWelcome, no charge. Same license and insurance checks

On the road

  • MilesUnlimited, every rental
  • WhereAnywhere in the lower 48
  • FuelGoes out full, comes back full. Refueling on return is billed at the going rate
  • Tolls and ticketsThe renter's responsibility while the keys are out
  • SmokingNot in the van. Cleaning fee applies

Pickup and return

Text messages

If you tick the box on the booking form, we send you text messages about your rental: that we have your request, that your dates are confirmed, a reminder before pickup and before the return, and one message asking how the trip went. Message frequency varies with your booking. Message and data rates may apply.

Consent is not a condition of renting from us. You can book by phone or email and never receive a text.
